Chef Bonnie Norman
Bonnie Norman is a chef specializing in pastry with a focus on education, and currently works as a pastry chef supervisor at Clark Bakery at the University of North Texas, as well as a private instructor and culinary consultant. She has nearly 15 years of pastry experience, including French pastries, celebration cakes, and artisan bread.
Bonnie’s culinary career began at Spiral Diner & Bakery on Magnolia with vegan baking, then eventually transitioned to Swiss Pastry Shop where she worked as head cake decorator for nearly 6 years until COVID caused their temporary closure. From Swiss Pastry, Bonnie moved to Central Market and artisan bread baking, before doing a stint at another local establishment in the then-newly remodeled Roy Pope Grocery. Bonnie has now been a senior Pastry Supervisor at UNT for 3 years, where she oversees part of their on-campus commissary bakery.
Bonnie has taught pastry classes across the metroplex, including at Hao’s Grocery, Benbrook Public Library, Cook Children's Community Center, and Southlake Public Library. In 2025 Bonnie was inducted into Les Dames d'Escoffier, a philanthropic organization focusing on advancing women in the culinary industry.
Bonnie also regularly volunteers with the Fort Worth Texas Chef Association Chapter as well as for Scouting America units in the Longhorn Council area, as both a quartermaster and counselor for the Cooking Merit Badge.
