Edgar Miller
Hi, I’m Edgar Miller, a native Texan living in Fort Worth. I am a portrait, commercial, and fine art photographer. My journey with photography started in the darkroom back in 1979. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, my passion extends beyond photography, drawing, and painting to include a solid knowledge base in science and math. My photography draws inspiration from my late father and also from my college photo professor, Keith Carter.
For commercial photography, my technical expertise ensures that every subject - whether it's a product, location, or promotional material - is captured with precision and vibrant detail.
My fine art photography is an extension of my early artistic training. Over the past three decades, I've exhibited my work in Texas and national exhibitions, receiving awards and earning spots in private collections. I'm a proud member of the Texas Photographic Society and the Texas Artists Coalition.
Additionally, I teach photography to groups and individuals who are getting started or want to learn new skills. It is a joy to share my knowledge with people with similar photographic passions.
On a personal note, I have been married to my best friend/assistant for over 30 years. She also is my equipment specialist (which means she holds camera equipment on shoots). We added that in our marriage vows; "To have and to hold my camera gear..." I also love the outdoors, specifically, the mountains, and my favorite food group is chocolate chip cookies!
