What is "u-pick?"
U-pick at Conundrum Farms is simple: book your spot online, then show up to the farm where you'll wander the rows and take home what you pick. No rushing, no agenda. Just a day at the farm exploring what's growing this season, quality time spent outside together, and something wonderful to take home!
Advance booking is required! See our upcoming u-pick sessions below. Sessions are small on purpose for a special, intimate experience at your local farm.
Thanks in advance for your understanding! U-pick is a brand new offering for us, albeit one that we have had in mind since starting the farm years ago. We'll be learning as we go. Thanks for being patient with us as we find our footing; we think it's going to be a lot of fun!

What to Know Before Your Visit
We're excited to welcome you to Conundrum Farms. Here are a few helpful details to make your Blooms & Blackberries visit easy, enjoyable, and stress-free!
What is a Blooms & Blackberries U-Pick?
A slow morning or evening on the farm.
Harvest fresh blackberries from the rows, gather flowers from the garden, or enjoy both. Take home a beautiful bouquet, sweet berries, and a little time spent outdoors.
Where do I check in?
All U-Pick visits begin and end at the Flower Garden Shed. Please do not go to the barn!
Park in the north parking lot past the main farm entrance, in front of the long white greenhouse.
Look for the windmill and walk that direction. We'll have signs to help guide you to the right spot!
Do I need a reservation?
We require reserving your spot online so there are no disappointments and we are properly staffed.
We intentionally keep our U-Picks small so every guest has plenty of room to enjoy the flowers, blackberries, and the pace the farm deserves. While we hate turning anyone away, reservations help us create the best possible experience for everyone.
Are flowers and blackberries included in the reservation fee?
No. Your reservation secures your spot during your selected session.
Flowers and blackberries are purchased separately at the end of your visit. Here is our current u-pick menu:

What if I only want flowers or only want blackberries?
That's perfectly fine.
You're welcome to enjoy flowers, blackberries, or both. There is no requirement to harvest both during your visit.
What happens when I arrive?

Park in the north parking lot by the white greenhouse.

Look for the windmill and walk that direction. You will see the flower field and flower shed.

Check in with a staff member in the flower shed for blackberries and flowers.

Receive your flower vase and/or blackberry carton.

Enjoy the garden and blackberry patch.

Return to the Flower Garden Shed to check out when you're finished.
Do I need to bring clippers or containers?
No.
We'll provide flower snips, a flower vase and/or blackberry carton depending on what you'd like to harvest.
Just bring yourself, comfortable outdoor clothing, and a little curiosity.
How do I know which flowers to cut?
Don't worry! We'll show you.
We'll provide snips and a quick introduction to the flower field before you begin. Our team is happy to help you choose blooms and teach you how to cut them for the longest vase life at home.
Can I eat berries while harvesting?
Absolutely.
In fact, we encourage you to taste the first two or three berries you pick so you can learn what perfect ripeness looks and tastes like.
You're welcome to enjoy up to five berries while harvesting. After that, berries should be added to your carton for purchase.
How long does the experience take?
If you're harvesting either flowers or blackberries, most guests spend about 30–45 minutes on the farm.
If you're enjoying both experiences, plan on spending about an hour or a little longer.
There's no rush. We encourage you to slow down, take photos, and enjoy your time outdoors.
What should I wear?
This is a working farm, not a manicured park.
We recommend:

Conditions vary with the weather, so dress comfortably for the outdoors.
Are strollers and wheelchairs allowed?
Yes.
The flower garden pathways are mulched, while the blackberry rows have dirt and grass pathways. Ground conditions vary depending on recent weather and rainfall.
Because this is a working farm, strollers, wheelchairs, and mobility devices designed for outdoor terrain will generally provide the best experience.
Are there bathrooms?
Yes. Restrooms are available on the property.
Can children attend?
Absolutely.
Children are welcome when accompanied and supervised by an adult. Please help little hands harvest carefully, as all flowers and berries gathered must be purchased.
Can I bring my dog?
No. For the safety of our farm animals, guests, and food crops, pets are not permitted on the farm.
Can I take photos?
Absolutely! We love seeing your farm memories. Feel free to take photos and tag us on social media.
What if it rains?
We remain open during light rain and sprinkles.
If weather becomes unsafe due to thunderstorms, lightning, or other severe conditions, we'll notify registered guests by email and post updates on social media.
Will there be bugs?
Yes.
We're a real farm, and we grow using regenerative practices. You'll likely see bees, butterflies, ladybugs, grasshoppers, and other beneficial insects throughout the garden.
Bug spray is always a good idea.
What if flowers or blackberries aren't ready?
Because we work with nature, availability changes from week to week.
Sessions are only released when enough flowers and berries are ready for guests to enjoy, ensuring everyone has a wonderful experience.
Can I wander around the rest of the farm?
For safety and farm operations, guests are asked to remain within designated U-Pick areas unless directed otherwise by staff.
I got tickets, but now I can't come. Can I get a refund?
Because sessions are small and spots fill fast, we're unable to offer refunds. Tickets are transferable, though, so feel free to pass yours along if your plans change!
