About the event
Photographing a Promenade of Pollinators

Join professional photographer Edgar Miller of Edgar Miller Images at Conundrum Farms for a hands-on workshop focused on capturing the movement and beauty of bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and more as they move through blooming wildflowers. The variety of animals that pollinate flowers is endlessly fascinating: photographing them is a whole new kind of challenge.
We’ll begin in the barn with a short presentation, where Edgar will walk through the camera settings, techniques, and equipment that set you up for success when photographing fast-moving subjects. Using real examples on the big screen, you’ll learn how to anticipate motion, work with natural light, and dial in your camera for sharp, dynamic images.
Then we’ll head out into the fields where the real magic happens.
